Coffee & Peppercorn Farming

Empowering individuals by their own abilities.

“If you give a hungry man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime”.

In 2017, PHAi sponsored a Coffee and Peppercorn Farm for 32 indigenous families in Buon Me Thuot.  This project is overseen by Sr Anna Suong who coordinated and led the 32 families to work together on this farm.  Harvesting is anticipated after 3 years.

The initial layout cost was just under $4000 AUD, with annual fertilising cost just under $1000 AUD.

With this initiative, our goal is to promote opportunities for families in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential.
