Mission & Outreach

Bringing compassion directly to communities.

Serving communities near and far.

Project Humanity Australia’s mission and outreach initiatives allow volunteers and supporters to deliver aid directly to communities and individuals who need it most.

Through international mission trips and local outreach programs, we work closely with communities, assess needs firsthand, and strengthen the impact of our ongoing humanitarian and development projects.

These programs also create opportunities for volunteers to experience the power of compassion in action.

Serving communities through hands-on support

Philanthropic Mission Trips

Every year — or at least every second year — our team and volunteers travel to Vietnam to visit remote communities and personally deliver support.

These mission trips allow the team to:

• Assess the needs of vulnerable communities firsthand

• Strengthen relationships with local partners and volunteers

• Visit and monitor existing PHAI projects

• Deliver aid and gift parcels directly to families in need

During these visits, the team regularly connects with communities involved in PHAI initiatives including:

• Compassion Kitchen

• Compassion Classrooms

• Coffee & Peppercorn Farming projects

• Medical assistance programs

• Gift distributions to remote villages

To date, PHAI has completed 9 mission trips to Vietnam, and 2 to the Philippines, each one strengthening partnerships and creating meaningful connections with the communities we serve.

These visits are an important part of ensuring that support reaches those who need it most and that projects continue to make a lasting impact.

Bringing warmth, dignity and hope to those in need

Homeless Outreach (Perth)

Project Humanity Australia also supports vulnerable individuals within our local community through the Perth Homeless Outreach program.

Through this initiative, volunteers prepare and distribute care hampers filled with essential supplies for individuals experiencing homelessness in Perth CBD and Northbridge. These outreach events aim not only to provide practical support but also to offer compassion, conversation, and encouragement to those doing it tough.

Typical care hampers may include:

• Toothbrush and toothpaste

• Soap and wet wipes

• Canned food and snacks

• Razors and hygiene products

• Female hygiene supplies

• Deodorant

• Bread, water and non-perishable food items

These small acts of kindness can provide immediate relief while reminding individuals that they are seen, valued and supported.
